Highlight: (This trekking and camping tour offers you a view into one of the most sacred place in the ancient Khmer Empire. You will experience a unique blend of jungle, pagodas, stone carvings and atmospheric waterfalls and some untouched ruinous temples).

Full Tour Itinerary

Transfer through seemingly endless rice fields and friendly local villages to Phnom Koulen Mt, an impressive sandstone plateau in this otherwise flat area. We are trekking through the pristine jungles of ancient Angkor to discover hidden treasures: (Chao SreyVibol, Banteay Ampil, Boeng Mealea, O Thmor Dab, Anlong Thom Village, Srash Domrey, Natural bat cave, Prasat Kok Chen, Srash Ta Eiy Sey and Prasat Kral Domrey, Waterfall and Angkor Complex).

DAY (01): (Arrival in Siem Reap): Up on arrival, welcome by our local guide, and transfer to downtown, and check in the hotel , free and leisure time by the hotel  swimming pool. Lunch is included at local restaurant, then start a city sightseeing tour around the old quarter of Old Market. Dinner is on your own and overnight in Siem Reap. (L).

DAY (02): (Chaosrey Vibol - Banteay Ampil – Boeng Mealea): (18km Trek, Home stay) (L/D): After breakfast from hotel, begin with your local guide and transfer out of town where you can start your trekking at Chao Srey Vibol temple. And then, heading turn to the east direction and face straight to the rainforest, across view isolate village with beautiful view over the countryside route, and the rice paddy field, trekking to the rainforest to reach the first hidden temple named Banteay Ampil that is being invaded by the young plants. This temple almost 100% lost in the rainforest, and not many tourists approach it. It was built during the Angkor Wat Era, which is the single with unique temple a lone in the rainforest that struggles against the nature for the temple itself survived. With this rainforest route to Banteay Ampil you can also see some kinds of animal life and the forest bird that pretty hard to see them in the zoo. We take a break for snack and drinks. After spending a nice fresh air time to explore Banteay Ampil temple, we are ready for another getaway out of the rainforest forwarding to Boeang Mealea for camping home stay, and enjoy your picnic lunch at the monastery where there people living around it. Continue by transfer with your vehicle to Boeng Mealea. Dinner is included at Home stay.

DAY (03): (Boeng Mealea – Koulen Mt - Anlong Thom Village): (18km Mt trek, Home stay) (B/L/D): After breakfast from the community camp site, we will take a short transfer to the nearest koulen Mt, and ready to trek through the small villager’s house, with across the versatile rice paddy field to the terrain mountain range and ready for 4 km hiking uphill to Koulen Mountain known as the sacred mountain of the former Khmer people who believe in the religion. Koulen Mt is known as well the first royal capital city during the Khmer period of time during 802 AD. We take a break for snack and drinks. After 4 km hiking uphill with the rocky and big limestone, climb up together with the vine of tree and crossing some banana tree along the way uphill, chilling out and enjoy with the natural cold fresh water from the small pond in the jungle mountain nearby the first hidden temple from the koulen mountain for welcoming to the jungle mountain for the former capital city. After having a delicious picnic lunch, spend another short time on visiting the single tower of hidden temple called O Thmor Dab built out of brick and sandstone. After that, continue on foot through the following villager foot print to catch up the jungle isolated village of Anlong Thom, where we we'll share with the jungle villagers with their cozy houses. You've your dinner and overnight at Anlong Thom village by sharing Home stay.

DAY (04): (Anlong Thom Village - Srash Domrey): (16km Jungle Trek, Jungle Camping) (B/L/D): After breakfast from our home stay, we are ready for another challenging of the day by trekking to the archeological site and founding residence of the ancient Khmer, the formerly largest capital by King Jayavarman II for his Kingdom. In the meantime, we all take a break for snack and drinks. Then, visit the hidden temple that lost in the rainforest, which built during 9th century, Prasat Kok Chen, Srash Ta Eiy Sey and Prasat Kral Damrey, and enjoy the jungle picnic lunch nearby the river, and then continue our trek to Srash Domrey (Elephant Pond) where we will camp. Then we cross the rice paddy fields, passing through an organic farm of the isolated mountain village and community forest. Enjoy the stunning scenic view of the panoramic mountain site view of the forest, the view of Sacred of Koulen Mountain. Enjoy your jungle overnight in tents camping and dinner.
 
DAY (05): (Srash Domrey – Waterfall): (16km Jungle trek, Camping) (B/L/D): The morning starts after breakfast form the jungle tents, ready for our trek to explore another adventure jungle trails, and visit the Natural bat cave where perhaps millions of fruit bats hand from the ceiling above our heads, no need to be afraid though, these little creatures will not hurt us, in the meanwhile we break for snack and drinks and then continue our trek to the great waterfall, and through lush green forest take in the atmosphere and allow it to relax and refresh the senses as the music of nature begins to softly play around us. Later after getting a lovely picnic lunch, we continue our trek to Wat Preah Kral and pass through a small jungle village of former Khmer Rouge stronghold, and then straight to Preah Ang Thom (The Grand Buddha reclining) after that heading to the great waterfall of Koulen Mountain. That’s time to swim and cool up. Refresh by the holy water from the riverbed of thousand Linga carved under the river. That is the sacred and holy play of the god Hindu (Shiva-God). Enjoy camping nightwith tents along the river nearby the waterfall with fresh dinner.
 
DAY (06): (Waterfall - Tbeng Village): (20km Trek, Home stay) (B/L/D): After breakfast from the river tents we begin exploring another archeological wonder of the river bed, of 1000 LINGAS carved under the riverbed of Koulen, that are considered sacred by many Cambodian people who believe that drinking from the holy river will bring good luck and prosperity. From here, we set off along an old trail, now little-used since the recent construction of a road. We may meet a few local people who still use the path for hunting, cutting lianas and to get to work on farms higher in the hills. Our trek continues to south-east on a small jungle trail down the mountain. Back on the flat plains, we continue our trek on sandy, sometimes muddy tracks. In the meantime, we take a break for snack and drinks. There is little shade as we pass a few villages, local schools and an abundance of pagodas. We take our lunch break in the village. We will be hot and tired by the time. We reach our evening’s accommodation. Overnight at Home stay with fresh dinner.

DAY (07): (Tbeng Village – Preah Dak): (20km Trek, Home stay) (B/L/D): After breakfast from the local house ready for another adventure trekking to the Angkor complex, passing through the beautiful green forest of Angkor Park and across the local village along the way of the trek, enjoy the life living of the Khmer people who are living so far from the down city, cow, water buffalo, rice paddy fields, and the Khmer traditional house. We stop off for snack and drinks. We also visit an original of Preah Dak Village, which is the first and original ancient Khmer’s house, surrounding by the green of organic farm, we break for lunch around the village, then heading to Bong Thom Home stay with dinner.

DAY (08): (Bon Tom Home Stay - Siem Reap): (18km Trek) (B/L): After breakfast from Bong Tom Home stay, ready for Angkor National Park exploring on foot, with trekking along the Angkor River forwarding to Siem Reap down town, by trekking through the village along the rice paddy file and the Angkor countryside, in the meantime, we break for snack and drinks. After lunch ready for short trekking through to Angkor rainforest to catch up the vehicle for transfer to Siem Reap downtown for hotel check in. And overnight at your hotel in Siem Reap.

DAY (09): (Siem – Angkor Thom Wall): (17km trek) (B/L): After breakfast from hotel, ready for transfer from hotel to the check point to get the ticket for exploring the world heritage site of Angkor complex, the first we will trekking through another rainforest by different route direction, the atmosphere view over from the great wall of Angkor Thom City, Angkor Thom city is the former royal capital city during the Khmer Empire built by the great former Khmer king JAYAVARMAN 7. In the meanwhile, we take a break for snack and drinks. The great wall is 12 square km with 08 meter-high, to-day after the trek throughout from the Angkor rainforest, we will continue on foot walking on the great wall Angkor Thom city, where you can get a best over view of the great moat surrounding the Angkor Thom capital city. Picnic lunch on the great wall, and then walking down forwarding to the ghost gate and victory gate and also visit the terrace of elephants and the former royal palace and the royal enclosure. Drive to hotel in late afternoon and overnight in Siem Reap. 

DAY (10): (Exploring Angkor Complex): (18km trek) (B/L): After breakfast from hotel, we are ready for amazing discovering day of Angkor Heritage by walk, a short transfer out of town and drop off nearby the Ankgor forest and where we are starting to explore the world famous of Angkor Wat. It is one of the world largest religious temples, built during 12th century by King Soryavarman II (1113-1150 AD). In the meanwhile, we break for snack and drinks. After Angkor exploring on foot, we continue our trail going back to Angkot Thom City once again and visit the great state temple of Bayon, where you could see the most smiling faces towers that always smile at you at all time when you are at the towers. Lunch nearby the temple, and then we trek for another different direction to visit by forwarding to the east gate going out through the Ghost gate to visit the small hidden forest temple of Ta Ney temple by crossing the Angkor River with the French Dam during their colonial time. And then visit another world famous temple, Ta Phrom, known as the jungle temple. It becomes famous day-to-day after the Hollywood film named “Tomb Rider.” Drive back to hotel and dinner and overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY (11): (Siem Reap – Airport for departure) (B): After breakfast from hotel, we are ready for Airport transfer for your home departure. End of your services!!!
