Wat Preah Vihear (Kratie)

Wat Preah Vihear (Kratie) is geographically situated in Kratie province and it is one of the most popoular Buddhist Monasteries in the area. It had Golden lions that stand guard the gates of the monastery that lead to peaceful and heavily shaded temple grounds as you, visitors can still see them to-day. It is one of the oldest monasteries in this province. This monastery according to villagers and experts, "bears the name of the internationally famous Preah Vihear Temple where located in Preah Vihear provine where straddles the Thai border in the Dangrek Mountains" said.  Its architecture and designing bear the same style and decoration to that of Royal Palace in Phnom Penh, the main capital of Cambodia to-day.
