Kang Va basin is the man-made or natural resort and also the largest water-reservoir where it is geographically located at Serey Sophoan District, along the National Road No 69A, it is about 4 kilometer in distance from the provincial town or 364 kilometer distance from Phnom Penh. Most of visitors (local and foreigner) who visit the resort are usually interested in such as abundance of natural and fresh air, beautiful natural scenary with blowing cool winds of Ang Teuk Kang Va basin and it was built from 1976 - 1978 during the Khmer Rouge regime, as a water reservoir for both rainy season and dry season. It is really useful for rice cultivation for local farmers. Visitors can enjoy their free time and leisure activities such as swimming, fishing and boating. Please enjoy yourself.
